Women’s Health GP +/- Aesthetic Physician

Thrive Skin Clinic is a boutique sub-specialty GP clinic in Wollongong, with 2 clinic sites. Our holistic clinic focuses on supporting women to feel healthy and confident, through evidence based weight loss, perimenopause/ menopause care and aesthetic and laser treatments. 

We are an all female, doctor owned practice looking to recruit like minded female doctors to our team. The role is contractor based, 1- 2 days a week, with a huge scope for learning new practical skills.  The role can include some telehealth medicine which may be done from home. 

Responsibilities

• Excellent communication skills, organisation and the ability to work independently. 
• The ability to work as  a skilled contractor,  using evidence based treatment to manage common women’s health issues, menopause, weight loss and cosmetic dermatology concerns
• Maintain clinic compliance according to AHPRA and in- house procedure and policies
• Assist our clinicians manage ongoing scripts and medical oversite of our patients
• Develop your knowledge on the latest technologies and skincare techniques
• Work with initiative and in a collaborative manner
• Opportunity to grow with the business and be mentored personally by a local expert.

Our ideal candidate will have a VR/ fellowship with the RACGP. Experience or a willingness to complete formal education in the field of  skin cancer medicine,  laser, and /or cosmetic injectables is desired.  We would also prefer to employ a local GP, willing to build up a patient base over time.

• Essential: excellent communication and  organisational skills, demonstrated experience in Women’s Health and skin issues.
• Desirable: VR/ fellowship with the RACGP.  We may be able to employ GPs via DWS- you will need to liaise with Medicare in this regard.
• Desirable: Membership and coursework via an independent and validated entity offering education on Menopause e.g.  Australasian Menopause Society Limited (AMS)
• Desirable: Post graduate studies in Skin Cancer, Aesthetic Medicine or laser treatments.
