Blackheath Medical Centre is a brand new medical centre that is scheduled to open in October 2024. We have a vacancy for a full time Practice Nurse, to work with our dynamic team of Doctors.

• Registered Nurse or Enrolled Nurse Medications Endorsed.
• Current APHRA registration as a Registered or Enrolled Nurse.
• Must have at least 2 years post graduate experience in nursing.
• Best Practice experience an advantage.
• Effective written and oral communication skills.
• Demonstrated experience and/or understanding of the issues and barriers that impact upon the health outcomes of Aboriginal people.
• Ability to assist GPs with clinical procedures and undertake diagnostic services such as ECGs.
• Demonstrated knowledge of and commitment to continuous quality improvement.
• Implement and practice infection control procedures and Cold Chain Management.
• Demonstrated knowledge and understanding of AGPAL Accreditation.
• Knowledge of the NSW Immunisation Schedule an advantage.
• Current NSW Working with Children’s Check
• Current Criminal History Check
• Current First Aid & CPR Certificate
