Summary: Our multidisciplinary team is looking for a RN with experience working with youth in a primary health setting and supporting youth clinics and health promotion to join us to provide a quality health service to the Aboriginal families.

Maari Ma Health is an Aboriginal community-controlled regional health service that has been providing a quality service to the Aboriginal people of far western New South Wales for more than 20 years and employs over 140 people within the region.

About the role

In this position you will contribute to the review, development and critical evaluation of Maari Ma’s Youth Health Program, which targets Aboriginal children and young people aged 9 to 18 years.

The position is responsible for providing person-centred support, education, referral and advocacy to young people, regarding their physical, sexual, mental and psychosocial health. The role works closely with the Aboriginal Health Practitioner Youth Health, the broader Child and Family Health team, Healthy Start General Practitioners and key stakeholders to promote health and wellbeing in the Aboriginal community.
