Position Overview:
As an Integrative General Practitioner at NurseWatch, you will provide high-quality general medical care while integrating both conventional and holistic therapies. You will leverage data from clinical monitoring devices and in-home nursing care to develop personalized treatment plans, working closely with our nursing team to ensure optimal patient outcomes through a combination of advanced technology and holistic health approaches.
Responsibilities:
- Provide timely, high-quality medical care, including diagnosis, treatment, and follow-up for NurseWatch clients.
- Use data from clinical monitoring devices and in-home nursing care to track progress and make informed, integrative treatment decisions.
- Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team (e.g., naturopaths, nutritionists, chiropractors) to create holistic care plans addressing both symptoms and root causes.
- Educate patients on integrative medicine and empower them to make informed health choices.
- Maintain accurate patient records, ensuring compliance with healthcare regulations and integrating monitoring data into care plans.
- Stay up-to-date with advancements in both conventional and holistic medicine, with a focus on patient monitoring technology and in-home care.
Qualifications:
- Medical degree (MBBS or equivalent) and valid medical license.
- Certification or experience in integrative, functional, or holistic medicine is highly desirable.
- Background or specialty in geriatrics preferred, but not required.
- Strong understanding of both conventional and complementary medicine, with an emphasis on holistic patient care.
- Excellent communication skills, with the ability to explain complex medical concepts clearly to patients and families.
- Ability to work independently and collaborate within a multidisciplinary team.
- Strong organisational and time-management skills, with a focus on leveraging technology to enhance patient care.
