The Location

Yamba is a picturesque sea-side town located in Northern NSW. A beautiful town surrounded by a string of idyllic beaches popular with campers, whale and dolphin watchers, grey nomads, surfers and travelling families.

Yamba can be found a mere 1hour drive from the nearest airport in Ballina (1.5hr flight from Sydney). In 2009 Yamba was voted the number 1 town in Australia by Australian Traveller Magazine. The modest population of 7,000 swells to over 30,000 people during holiday periods.

The Opportunity
We are looking for a driven and caring General Practitioner to join one of the busiest surgeries in Yamba. We are currently booked up 9-14 days in advance. The surgery fitout is just over a year old and is in the best location in town, within the popular Coles shopping Centre. This is the only major supermarket for 50km in any direction.
On site you will find a full-time Practice Manager supported by multiple front receptionists. Enhanced Primary Care nurse to perform care plans and Health Assessments as well as all chronic care related nursing duties. Full time Registered Nurse staff for the treatment room and dedicated procedure room (trained in surgical procedure assistance). The surgery features 5 consulting rooms and 2 Allied health/EPC rooms.

General registration applicants will be considered.
