Job Description
Situated on the Bucketts Way just over an hour from Newcastle sits the delightful township of Stroud. It is a small, genuinely historic and picturesque village notable for it’s large number of convict-era buildings.
This vibrant and tight knit community is serviced by only one medical centre which is currently home to two part-time doctors (and on the lookout for more). Our medical centre employs friendly and experienced nursing and reception staff who are committed to providing the very best quality care to the community.
Our attitude towards flexibility and lifestyle ensures our team enjoy a fantastic work-life balance. As a rural GP in our practice you will enjoy an exciting and stimulating career where no two days are the same. You will experience a broad scope of practice to tackle the unique presentations found only in rural general practice.
Our two clinic sessions per day begin at 9 am and break for lunch at 12.30 pm. The afternoon session begins at 2 pm and finishes at 4.30 pm, leaving time for following up results and returning messages. Our clinical software is Best Practice.
What we are offering:
– competitive remuneration
– work-life balance
– modern facilities
– excellent nursing and administrative support
– flexible working hours
– a welcoming community
