The opportunity

We are looking for an experienced GP/Obstetrics to join us at Ochre Medical Centre Bowenfels and provide services to Lithgow Hospital, part of the Nepean Blue Mountains Local Health District.

Ochre Medical Centre Bowenfels is well-established in the community, with a collegial team of dedicated doctors and staff.

Lithgow Hospital is a 46 inpatient bed district teaching hospital affiliated with the University of Notre Dame, offering a 24-hour emergency department.

This role will be clinically responsible for conducting both inpatient and outpatient obstetric services and participating in the on-call obstetrics roster.

Bowenfels is a small town on the outskirts of Lithgow 2 hours from Sydney, at the roots of the breath-taking and iconic Blue Mountains.
