General Practitioner GP DPA Thirroul Wollongong-70% private billings

This is a wonderful opportunity for a quality VR GP to work full time or part-time in beautiful Thirroul – 1 hour south of Sydney and 25mins north of Wollongong.

We are now listed as a District of Priority Access (DPA) and able to take suitably qualified overseas trained doctors.

Seacliff Healthcare is a GP owned  busy family medical practice located in the heart of Thirroul.  We are seeking one or more doctors to help us meet the demand for care.  Ours is a welcoming and positive work environment with caring, friendly staff and respectful, supportive relationships between doctors.  Our facilities are beautiful, with solid oak desks, leather chairs, marble reception desk, and natural light.  There are dozens of cafes/restaurants and a patrolled surf beach within walking distance.  We are located beside Thirroul train station and there is ample parking nearly.

We have full IT support, 2 great practice nurse and are Agpal accredited.  There are opportunities for teaching medical students at the practice for interested doctors.

Doctors are free to bill as they wish, but generally we charge a $49 gap for private patients.

There are regular meetings for staff and doctors and regular holidays are encouraged.   The opportunity exists for after hours work should doctors wish to provide it.  Alternatively, we subscribe to the Wollongong Radiodoctor service so after hours care is covered. We use Best Practice medical records and HotDoc online bookings and telehealth.
