General Practitioner Aboriginal Primary Health Care

Tobwabba Aboriginal Corporation Medical Service (TACMS), located in Forster on the glorious Mid-North Coast of NSW, currently has an exciting opportunity for an experienced and motivated General Practitioner with a desire to achieve positive outcomes in Aboriginal Primary Health Care.

Tobwabba ACMS are seeking a full-time General Practitioner (5 days a week) with no after hours required. Working with our local Aboriginal Community to provide comprehensive clinical and primary health care, you will be working with our other committed GPs and Registrars with the support from our dedicated primary health care team which includes Nurses, Aboriginal Health Practitioners, Maternal Health, Allied Health Practitioners, Dentists, and various visiting specialists.

To be successful for this role you must have the following.

Qualifications

• Bachelor of Medicine (MBBS) or equivalent
• Registration as a medical practitioner, with full registration in NSW
• NSW Medical Indemnity Insurance
• FRACGP, FACRRM or Vocational Registration

Experience:

• Experience in managing chronic diseases is desirable.
• Experience in general practice environment
• Demonstrate a knowledge of and compliance with all relevant legislation and common law obligations.
• Demonstrate patient-focused approach in service provision with genuine empathy and interest in their needs.
